PUMPKIN (CUCURBITA PEPO)
Key Ingredients:
Pumpkins are a kind of squash native to North America. It can be cooked in sweet and savoury recipes. Pumpkin seeds are loaded with goodness, and so is the oil that we cold-press from them. Pumpkin seed oil is rich in the essential fatty acids omega 3 and 6 and is high in Vitamin E.
Why we love it?
Pumpkin seeds are my g0-to snack. They’re so good for you, and are a quick and simple way to manage both your energy and blood sugar levels. They are also high in fibre, so are a good way of keeping your gut healthy.
Pumpkin Seed Oil was one of my top picks for our Super Seed formula. Omegas 3 and 6 deeply hydrate, soothe and protect parched skin. Vitamin E promotes healing.
If I feel myself flagging, I reach for a handful of pumpkin seeds to restore my energy. If I look tired, or my skin looks dull, I slather on our Super Seed Facial Oil and let it sink in like a mask. The pumpkin seed oil – along with the other nourishing seed oils – deeply penetrates and peps up my skin so that it’s glowing and restored.
