What is Avocado Oil?

We know you’re thinking about smashed avocado toast, so we can start there… Avocado Oil is actually derived from pressed avocado pulp – smashed avocado and then some – and full of nutritional and topical benefits. Avocados are stuffed full of nutrients and healthy monosaturated fats. We take care of our skin from the inside out, and Avocado Oil shows us it can do both.

How does Avocado Oil help your skin?

Avocado Oil is rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. They strengthen the barrier function  and structural integrity of the skin, and have anti-inflammatory properties. Phytosterols (plant compounds similar to human cholesterol) work to lock in moisture, and stop water loss leading to hydrated, plumped skin.

To top it off, avocado oil is highly absorbent so it moisturises and soothes deeply and effectively.
